National Astronomy Week 2024 by the UP Astronomical Society is a hybrid science outreach program featuring on-site competitions and online seminars with Filipino scientists. I led a creative team in developing its branding, production materials, and event documentation to support nationwide student engagement in astronomy.
Sequence
Astronomy outreach in the Philippines often happens through fragmented events with limited visual cohesion and inconsistent communication across schools. While interest is high among students, there is a need for a more unified system that makes scientific discussions more accessible and engaging.
Mutate
Led a creative team in developing the branding system, event materials, and documentation for both online seminars and on-site competitions. Produced visual assets that translated astronomy concepts into accessible communication while supporting 30+ participating teams from Metro Manila high schools.
Express
Improved event cohesion and participation by creating a more unified visual and communication system. Strengthened engagement across science and non-science schools while making astronomy discussions with Filipino scientists more accessible.
